My Intention

My primary intention is to support you in learning to trust yourself.

You instinctually know that limits and needs are normal, natural, neutral, and essential, but the cultural norms of capitalist white-hetero-patriarchy have trained us to override our body's feedback and keep producing more (& more. & more.) They've also trained us to second-guess and guilt-spiral when we do establish ownership over our time and energy. 

Our work together is designed to take you from perseverating: "but what will they think if I say no?" to feeling proud about honoring yourself: "what do I actually need to be resourced enough to show up for what matters most to me?" and "hell yeah, that actually feels really good."

Those of us with perfecting, pleasing, and performing strategies tend to live from the neck up.

Our shoulders are tense. Our breathing is shallow. Our minds are swirling with tasks (and the stories we tell ourselves about how we will be perceived for those tasks.)
